REFUND POLICY

1. General Refund Terms

All subscription payments are non-refundable.
Refunds are not offered for:

  • Change of mind

  • Relationship outcomes or disputes

  • Breakups or emotional reasons

  • Dissatisfaction with profile engagement

  • Unused subscription time

  • Forgetting to cancel before renewal

  • Joining during a discounted period

  • Misunderstanding the public-visibility model

This applies to future paid plans, including:

  • Singles Plan ($29.95/month)

  • Couples Plan ($44.99/month)

WorldMeetUs provides public visibility and verification review.
Once your subscription period begins, the service is considered delivered.

2. Refund Exceptions (Platform Errors Only)

A refund may be considered only if:

  • You were charged twice for the same period

  • A technical billing error occurred

  • Proven fraudulent use of your payment details took place

Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method only.
No other exceptions apply.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

  • Cancellation stops future charges

  • The current billing period is not refunded

  • Visibility and access may end immediately upon cancellation or failed payment

  • Removed or hidden profiles are not grounds for a refund

4. Payment Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining valid payment details

  • Updating billing information when required

  • Ensuring sufficient funds for auto-renewal

Failed payments may result in:

  • Removal from public visibility

  • Suspension of verification level

  • Termination of your profile

No refunds are provided due to failed or declined payments.

5. Founding Member Fee (Future Feature)

If a future one-time Founding Member Fee is introduced, it will be:

  • One-time

  • Non-refundable

  • Applied immediately

  • Not eligible for exceptions

(Your current Wollongong launch fee is $0, so any outdated fee references should be removed from your site.)

We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
