1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a profile, accessing, or using WorldMeetUs (“the platform”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

To join WorldMeetUs, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Provide truthful, current information

  • Use your real identity

  • Comply with Australian law

We may request additional verification at any time.

3. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms without prior notice.
Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated version.

4. Service Purpose (Important)

WorldMeetUs is a public relationship-transparency platform.
By joining, you acknowledge and consent that:

  • Your first name, suburb, profile photo, and relationship status may be publicly visible

  • Verified relationship progression (Single → Dating → Exclusive → Engaged → Married) may be displayed

  • Relationship endings are archived privately, not deleted

  • Visibility and transparency are core features

  • Your profile and status may appear in search engines or screenshots

If you do not want your relationship status public, do not join.

5. Membership Plans & Pricing

Wollongong Founding Stage:
Membership is free for early Wollongong Founding Members.
Paid plans activate after launch.

Future plans include:

  • Singles Plan: $29.99/month

  • Couples Plan: $44.99/month (covers both partners)

All paid plans:

  • Bill monthly

  • Auto-renew unless cancelled

  • Require active payment to remain visible

  • Lose public visibility if cancelled or unpaid

Prices may change for new members only.
Active subscribers keep their rate unless they cancel.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • All payments are final and non-refundable

  • Partial-month refunds are not offered

  • Failed payments may result in suspension or removal

  • Members must maintain valid payment information

7. Public Profile Visibility & Relationship Status

By using the platform, you agree that:

  • Your profile will display one visible status:
    Single, Dating, Exclusive, Engaged, or Married

  • Status cannot be hidden or masked

  • If a relationship ends, the Couple profile may be removed and archived

  • WorldMeetUs may adjust visibility or details for accuracy, clarity, or safety

  • You may be asked to re-verify if information appears inconsistent

  • Profiles that appear misleading or contradictory to real information may be adjusted or removed

8. Verification Levels

Verification indicates review, not absolute certainty.

Level 1 — Approved Member (Active now)
Profile reviewed for clarity, consistency, and authenticity.

Level 2 — Online ID Verification (Coming soon)
Government ID check performed online.

Level 3 — Premium Verification (Future)
Full in-person verification.

Submission of false information or fake documents results in immediate termination.

9. Behaviour & Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit fake or deceptive relationship statuses

  • Impersonate others

  • Harass, stalk, or abuse members

  • Use the platform for illegal or exploitative purposes

  • Attempt to hide or manipulate your real relationship status

  • Circumvent visibility or verification systems

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

10. Intellectual Property

All branding, images, layouts, and platform features belong to WorldMeetUs and cannot be copied or reused without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

You understand that:

  • We do not control member behaviour

  • We do not guarantee relationship outcomes

  • We are not responsible for emotional or personal consequences

  • Platform data may not always be uninterrupted or error-free

  • Use of the platform is at your own risk

WorldMeetUs is a visibility tool, not a counselling or mediation service.

12. Termination

Your account may be suspended or terminated if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Abuse the platform

  • Fail to maintain active payment once paid plans begin

  • Attempt to manipulate verification or visibility

Termination results in instant removal from public listings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
Any disputes will be resolved in NSW courts.
